The class is only available to members who have completed Junior Class or are re-taking Basic Obedience.
This class is for dogs that already have some skills or training experience from TADTC. In this class you learn the basics, expanding on what was learnt in your Junior or Basic classes. There are some extra bits thrown in to help you think and train your dog to the best of your ability.
By the end of this class there will be an assessment and your dog should be able to:
- Sit on command
- Lie down on command
- To ignore passing dogs
- Recall – dog to come when called
- Remain tied to a fence without barking or pulling
- Walk on lead at without pulling, including past distractions
- Handler to handle the dog (eyes, ears, teeth, front and back feet
