You and your dog (big or small, young or old) are welcome to train with us in domestic or competition obedience. Your puppy can start obedience classes as soon as they have had all their vaccinations.

Who knows… perhaps Manawatu’s next Canine Good Citizen is in YOUR lounge or back yard, just waiting to be discovered!!!

We run a variety of obedience classes for dogs and owners at different levels, which build on each other and gradually teach you how to have a well-behaved dog.  There are four terms per year, each of nine weeks in duration.  Find out more on the Classes page.  Dates for this year’s training terms are on the Calendar page.  If you are new to dog training, have a look around the Newcomers and FAQs pages for more information.

Thank you all for your prompt completion of the enrolment form. The domestic obedience classes filled up in no time. At this stage, any further applications for Junior, Basic, and Intermediate classes will be on the waiting list. Only a few spaces are left for advanced classes (Scent, Competition, and CGC). If you want to enroll your dog in one of the advanced classes, make sure you complete the application form ASAP, the link will be open until January 23.
