The class is only available to members who successfully passed Intermediate Obedience.
Please note this class is held on a Wednesday at our Longburn Venue.
If you are interested in expanding your dog’s obedience skills and are interested in trying something that will challenge both you and your pooch, this is a class for you. Training is fun, and your dog will learn to follow your every move: forward, sideways, and around in circles. Some of the things you will learn include:
- Platform work – Dog learns to put its feet on a block
- Touch – Dogs nose is on your hand as you move
- Follow – Dog moves under your hand
- Present – Dog will sit in front of you
- Heelwork – Dog close by your side
If you are not thinking of competing, don’t let the name Competition deter you, its up to you whether you want to compete or just train these skills.
